Department of Human Rights

This department, among the five research-based departments of UNESCO Chair for Human Rights, Peace and Democracy at Shahid Beheshti University, investigates and analyzes the modern theories of this domain via numerous national, regional and international conferences, research-based plans as well as writing and translating the relevant law texts.
 
The chief reasons for the establishment of this center are as follows:
  • 1. Research in the theoretical grounds of human rights with an Islamic and Iranian view;

  • 2. Establishment and expansion of national, regional and international relation among universities and research centers for the development of education and research in human rights;

  • 3. Exchange of experiences and achievements.
